Only pic I’ve got. But with the 275/40/19 Firestones installed, I’m sitting with flush tires and holy hell does this look amazeballs.

I love new tires... new rubber is sexy, (or maybe I have issues...)

Indy 500’s!  I wanted those but my local firestone dealer is a dork and didn’t want to sell me any tires.

I got these for a hell uva price and probs will never go back to Pirelli again even if it’s OEM.

I have those same tires (in 205/50/17). They were great on the Mazda and I’m going to swap them onto the 128i soon (same stock tire size).

Also just put on new Firestone Indy 500s, but from the other end of the size range.

When I had the chance to do mine, I bought a pair of factory 9.5x19 rear wheels and put them on the front axles, so I can mount 285/35R19 “squared”.

In order to clear the front struts, then also bought 12mm hub-centric wheel-centric spacers.

Now that the front will be “flush”, then had to do the rears, so I also got 15mm hub-centric wheel-centric adapters.

Yeah, one thing led to another... but the result after everything is also pretty good:

Huh, I always thought anything less than 10" wide was too small for a 285 tire. Cool to know that it works!

Nice. I run a squared set of 285s on 9.5" wide SVE wheels, for the same reason, fills up them wheel wells...

Mine are squared too, but I got the SVEs when they only offered a 10" option.

285/35R19 is the original size mounted on that wheel from the factory, so I went with the same one. Front was 255/40R19 on 9in wheels before I took them off.

Michelin says for the tires I got (Pilot Sport A/S 3), Rim Width Range is 9.5in -> 11in while the Measured Rim Width is 10in, resulting in really meaty shoulders as you can see.

Plus, I can tell from experience, with the rear wheel Torque that my car puts down, 285 is... inadequate :-P
